McDowall State School – Stage 1

A socially interactive and fun playground, that flows from start to finish, this space will be sure to stimulate a range of users.

This bespoke playground design incorporates 5 separate structures, that interlink to provide a flowing, open and spacious play area. It has been carefully designed to offer a safe and compliant, yet challenging setting, which will promote and encourage the development of a child’s core motor skills of balance, speed, agility and strength.

By creating an embankment slide with stairs and railing, we specifically designed this area to integrate the hillside with the playground. The space around the base of the tree was also utilised, to provide a seating area under natural shade.
